Mass Marotta is the self-titled blog and brand founded by Dan Marotta. Dan currently works at a major Boston-based software development company, where he is employed as the company’s Community Manager. In this role, Dan works in a tactical and strategic fashion to find ways to use community to better engage with customers, and to direct those interactions back to marketing, sales, R&D and various cross-functional groups. Dan’s past experience include community management of a world-wide bank’s small business community. In this position, Dan facilitated peer-to-peer support to assist small business owners to build and grow their businesses. Dan has deep roots in e-commerce, content management, customer support and web analytics.
